In line with its commitment to advancing diagnostic excellence, Bahwan Healthcare Centre’s Medical Equipment Division spearheaded a series of high-impact academic and product engagement initiatives during October 2025, fostering knowledge exchange across Oman’s healthcare community.

On 25–26 October, in partnership with DRTECH, a virtual product demonstration was delivered to key opinion leaders at Khoula Hospital. Presented live from Korea by the company’s Middle East Product Manager, the session showcased advanced imaging capabilities, clinical applications, and workflow efficiencies, reinforcing the value of next-generation diagnostic solutions.
Earlier, on 6 October, a radiology session titled “Imaging Made Easy” was conducted in collaboration with Canon Medical Systems in Muscat. Attended by professionals from the Ministry of Health and Ministry of Defence, the forum highlighted innovations that enhance image quality, optimise radiation dose, and support faster clinical decision-making.

Complementing these initiatives, hands-on ultrasonography training was organised on 25 October with Royal Hospital and the Oman Society of Ultrasound in Medicine. Expert trainers from Victor Babeș University of Medicine and Pharmacy guided participants using Canon’s Aplio A system, underscoring the importance of continuous professional development.

Together, these engagements reflect BHC’s proactive role in nurturing clinical expertise and strengthening strategic global partnerships.
