Bahwan Healthcare Centre’s Medical Equipment Division marked a series of significant milestones in 2025, reinforcing its commitment to advancing diagnostic and clinical capabilities across Oman and beyond.
On 21 December 2025, a state-of-the-art Canon Aquilion Prime SP CT scanner from Canon Medical Systems was successfully installed at Salalah MOH Hospital. Designed to manage high patient throughput, the system enhances diagnostic precision and workflow efficiency in busy hospital environments. Earlier, on 20 November 2025, the same advanced 160-slice CT technology, powered by AI-assisted deep learning reconstruction (AiCE), was commissioned at Mahoot MOH Hospital, strengthening imaging services across diverse clinical applications.
Extending support to regional healthcare facilities, portable slit lamps from Keeler and ripple mattresses from Apollo Healthcare Technologies were installed at MOH Hospitals in Suwaiq and Khasab on 22 December 2025, enhancing ophthalmic diagnostics and patient care.
Beyond healthcare, a Canon CT system was commissioned for Stratum Reservoir on 23 August 2025, enabling high-resolution, non-destructive core analysis for advanced petrochemical and geological evaluation.
