Bahwan Healthcare Centre participates in Non-Communicable Disease Risk Factor Surveillance in co-ordination with WHO and MOH

Bahwan Healthcare Centre’s Medical Equipment Division successfully completed the supply and installation of 110 nos. Digital Portable Weighing Scales as part of WHO’s National Survey Project. End-user training for surveyors was conducted in coordination with the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Ministry of Health (MOH) between 16th to 20th February 2025. The training was organized to ensure proper usage of the equipment in support of the ongoing National Survey. This nationwide initiative is aimed at screening representative population samples across all the wilayats of Oman to assess risk factors associated with non-communicable diseases.
